National Conference (NC) working president and former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday said why medical report of a minor girl who was murdered in Kathua has not come to fore. “Kathua incident was a shock but unfortunately, no medical report has been received by the investigating agency so far. Where is the medical report,” Omar asked the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. “You had assured that a probe will be conducted into the case on fast track basis.” Referring to 2009 Shopian double rape and murder, Omar said, “At that time, you (Mehbooba) raised hue and cry. Protests were everywhere. The government at that time controlled the situation with difficulty.” The former CM according to GNS said without medical report, it is impossible to carry out investigations.
